I am aware that you were no where near feeling blue.. But the challenge got me thinking about the concept of "Feeling blue" and this picture I thought went well with that.

Its been a pleasure capturing various pictures as I traveled over the years....

I can't see many guesses on what the subjects of both snaps are.
Nevertheless I'll end the suspense

Blurred Corridor : This a top view of stair case of an apartment building. The focus is deliberately a little off to get a blurred view. What looks like the tube light lighting up the corridor is actually sunlight falling on each floor of the staircase.

Faded Reality : This one is even more complicated (and perhaps only makes sense to me)
This one is a photograph of the open terrace of the same apartment building as above.
The faded effect is because photograph is actually that of the reflection of the terrace as visible on the door laminate. Again the reflection is itself viewed at a very acute angle to the door. The blur is not due to my head or any such object blocking the view. It is simply because of the way the lens was focused.
Thus the reflection is clear at a point farthest from the lens (which is what I was focusing on) and appears blurred grey at parts of the laminate which were very near to the lens.

phew .. long explanation ... hopefully articulate enough so a reader might get it.

Some times out of focus pictures can be so lyrical...

For a minute there, I could actually envisage the whole trek esp the sore ankle and the eerie village in front of me just going by your writing....also loved two pics in particular...one of the boy band jumping in sync and the another set of boys playing desi gully cricket!!

Was there for the first time this year and have decided to go on a trek to such forts in future....any suggestions for groups that I can join for the same?
